An ever-present in the security and fire sectors for almost a decade, Darrell Gilmour began his career as an alarm systems apprentice and installation engineer before moving into a sales and design role with Kings Secure Technologies. In 2018, Darrell took up a post with Marlowe Fire and Security for a short spell, subsequently gaining experience with varying markets and larger projects, before then entering the educational sector by moving to New College Lanarkshire and taking on the role of lecturer. He holds a certified Security Management Professional Diploma in Security and Risk Management from the International Security Management Institute, which was completed back in 2018.
